The introductory version of rugby for boys and girls ages 6 and up is called Tag Rugby, and it's happening right here on the North Shore. Tag Rugby is a non-contact sport designed to introduce children to rugby - a game that's catching on in America at youth, high school, college and adult levels and is considered by many to be the ultimate team sport.
Rugby is typically played with 15 players per team, but an exciting and high-scoring version of rugby called "Sevens," which is played with 7 players per team, was recently featured on NBC and will be introduced at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

You don't have to go far to find rugby! The North Shore Rugby Club has men's, women's and youth teams and is open to all residents of the North Shore.
